About UsEstablished in 1991, Danila Dilba Health Service is a community organisation providing comprehensive primary health care to Biluru communities in the Yilli Rreung Region of the Northern Territory. We aim to improve the physical, mental, spiritual, cultural and social wellbeing of our clients through innovative comprehensive programs based on principles of equity, access, empowerment, determination and collaboration. Responsibilities include: •Support the development of an agreed DD STI/BBV Enhanced Response Implementation Plan aligned with NACCHO and NT STI/BBV Strategic and Operational Plans•Build and strengthen Danila Dilba STI/BBV workforce capability and competencies across the organisation•Support the development and implementation of strategies to increase STI/BBV testing and prevention activities for 15-29 years accessing DD•Align activities to the NT STI/BBV Strategic and Operational Plan 2019-23 in the monitoring of STI/BBV outcomes for Aboriginal people living in the Greater Darwin RegionAre you the right person? The successful candidate will have: 1.Current registration as an AHP / Nurse with AHPRA with demonstrated clinical experience.2.Ability to operate at a strategic level in developing and implementing programs and plans3.Demonstrated Experience in providing training to clinical staff4.Demonstrated experience in facilitating interagency forums5.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, liaison, negotiation, and conflict resolution with people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds.6.Demonstrated understanding of the principles of sexual health and Primary Health Care within Indigenous Health.We want you to be proud of both the work you do and of who you work for!
