This is an Identified Aboriginal position. Only applicants with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island heritage will be considered

As a professional AWAHS Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring clients’ safety, comfort and wellbeing to and from their medical appointments.

You are someone who likes to have a yarn and a laugh – and love to meet new people. You are a proud Aboriginal person who loves to learn more about your culture and you want to link more into the local Koori community.

Of course, you will need to be a safe and careful driver with no traffic convictions, a clean Police Record and are able to obtain a Working With Children’s Certificate. You will also need your Certificate of Aboriginality.

You will also be required to keep the vehicles clean, use the computer for administration and be someone who can be dependable and reliable.

This position is subject to Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 and is only open to applicants of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. Proof of descent will be required.
